Pokhara Zoological Park, also known as Pachbhaiya Zoological Park and Wildlife Rescue Center, is a community forest-based zoo spread across 1.34 square kilometers of natural forest land near Pokhara in Nepal's Gandaki Province. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Annapurna mountain range, the facility was established as a wildlife rehabilitation center for injured and problematic wild animals before being opened to the public. Visitors can encounter wild cats, barking deer, spotted deer, blue cows, foxes, owls, white vultures, and eagles in a lush forested setting, and the park also offers elephant interaction experiences. The zoo provides a serene nature-based outing for families and travelers exploring the Pokhara region.
