The Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (PWRCC), also known as the Crocodile Farm, is a government-run wildlife rehabilitation facility located about 9 kilometers south of Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, Philippines. Established in 1987 through a joint venture between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, it was originally founded as the Crocodile Farming Institute. The center is home to two endemic crocodile species — the critically endangered Philippine crocodile (Crocodylus mindorensis) and the Saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) — and also shelters various rescued Palawan endemic wildlife and plant species. Visitors can tour the grounds to observe these remarkable reptiles up close, learn about breeding programs, and gain insight into the vital conservation work being carried out to protect some of the Philippines' most threatened species. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, it is an educational and family-friendly destination for anyone exploring Puerto Princesa.
