Chiang Mai Night Safari is a government-operated nature theme park and one of the world's few nocturnal zoos, situated in Hang Dong District approximately 10 kilometres from Chiang Mai city centre. Covering more than 323 acres, the park opened in 2006 and showcases a diverse range of Asian and international wildlife through night and day safari tram rides, as well as the Jaguar Trail walking zone. Live animal shows featuring tigers, white tigers, and nocturnal creatures provide additional entertainment. The park also offers on-site accommodation, meeting venues, dining, and a souvenir shop, making it a comprehensive family destination that uniquely combines education, wildlife viewing, and evening adventure.
