ZOOS NAKHON PATHOM

Nakhon Pathom Youth Center Zoo is a small, freely accessible community zoo located in Amphoe Mueang Nakhon Pathom, in central Thailand. The zoo houses a variety of animals including deer, goats, peacocks, gibbons, otters, monkeys, crocodiles, and a colorful assortment of birds. Visitors can purchase vegetables to feed many of the animals, making it a friendly and interactive experience for families and children. The grounds also include a small swimming pool and recreational courts, offering a relaxed outing for locals and visitors exploring the Nakhon Pathom area.

Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo is a celebrated wildlife attraction located in Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom Province, approximately 40 kilometers west of Bangkok. Established in 1985, the park is renowned for its spectacular daily elephant shows, in which trained elephants dance, race, paint, and re-enact royal battle scenes with costumed riders. A world-class crocodile farm, recognized by CITES as one of the most impressive public crocodile displays in the world, is another highlight, featuring live crocodile wrestling shows. The zoo is also home to tigers, bears, chimpanzees, hippopotamuses, and other species. Set within beautifully landscaped grounds, the venue is a popular family day-trip destination from Bangkok.
