Bueng Boraphet Aquarium is a freshwater aquarium situated on the shores of Bueng Boraphet, Thailand's largest freshwater lake, in Nakhon Sawan Province. The building is designed to resemble a traditional Krachaeng river cargo boat, measuring 37 by 49 meters, and displays over 100 freshwater fish species across individual tanks with bilingual Thai and English descriptions. The highlight is a 24-meter walk-through tunnel where visitors are surrounded by freshwater stingrays, giant catfish, and other impressive species. The aquarium offers an accessible and family-friendly introduction to Thailand's rich inland aquatic biodiversity, with modest entry fees and a welcoming atmosphere suitable for children and nature enthusiasts alike. It is open Wednesday through Sunday with midday hours.
