Thanyaburi Mini Zoo is a freely accessible public animal park located on a 300-rai plot in Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, just north of Bangkok. Opened in March 2022, the zoo was established as a temporary recreational space while the permanent replacement for Bangkok's historic Dusit Zoo is being developed, with the full facility anticipated to be complete by 2027. The mini zoo is home to a charming selection of animals including chitals, Indian hog deer, barasinghas, squirrel monkeys, lemurs, porcupines, monitor lizards, and turtles. Open on weekdays and weekends with free admission, it offers a welcoming green retreat for families and nature lovers in the greater Bangkok metropolitan area.
