The Muang Roi Et Municipal Aquatic Animals Center, located in Roi Et Province in northeastern Thailand, is a public freshwater aquarium operated by the local municipality. Housed across two connected buildings, the facility features 24 smaller freshwater fish tanks alongside a large showcase tank measuring 8 by 16 meters and holding 400 cubic meters of water. A signature walk-through tunnel runs beneath the main tank, allowing visitors to observe aquatic life from all angles. Exhibits highlight local fish species drawn from the Mekong, Chao Phraya, and Mun rivers, supplemented by taxidermy displays for educational purposes. The center also includes a lecture hall and exhibition spaces, making it a valuable educational resource for students and families in the region. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
