Songkhla Zoo is the first and largest zoo in southern Thailand, set across 347 acres amid scenic mountains and near the shores of Songkhla Lake in Amphoe Mueang Songkhla. Operated by the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand, the zoo is home to an impressive variety of animals including white tigers, white lions, hippopotamuses, rhinoceroses, Malayan tapirs, seladang, camels, giraffes, penguins, seals, red kangaroos, and many more species from Thailand and around the world. Visitors can enjoy animal shows featuring seals, penguins, parrots, and predators, as well as up-close animal feeding experiences.
