REPTILARIUMS UBON RATCHATHANI

Ubon Ratchathani Zoo is a sprawling open-air zoological park covering 1,217 rai within the Dong Fa Huan National Forest in Amphoe Mueang Ubon Ratchathani, northeastern Thailand. Managed by the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand, the zoo presents its diverse collection in a jungle park style, with animals organized into Thai ungulates, foreign ungulates, African wildlife, and predator zones. Species on exhibit include white tigers, lions, giraffes, zebras, camels, penguins, hornbills, macaws, crocodiles, caimans, otters, lemurs, and a wide variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles. Trakan Tiger Zoo is a private wildlife park situated in Trakan Phuet Phon District, approximately 38 kilometers from Ubon Ratchathani city in northeastern Thailand. Tigers are the main draw, with both young cubs and large adults kept in spacious forested enclosures, and visitors can photograph young tigers under staff supervision. The zoo also houses crocodiles, camels, deer, buffalo, monkeys, birds, snakes, and a variety of other animals, set amid a shaded natural landscape with ponds and waterfalls.
