Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Zoo is a modern zoological facility located within Sazova Park, the main science, culture, and art park of Eskişehir, Turkey. Opened in April 2017 by the city's metropolitan municipality, the zoo spans 85 decares and is home to 243 animal species, including flamingos, seals, monkeys, meerkats, reptiles, and a diverse array of fish in an aquatic section. A tropical pavilion features insects and snakes, offering an unusual and educational experience. The zoo also serves as a regional Wildlife Rescue Center, where injured or vulnerable animals are treated and rehabilitated before being returned to nature where possible. The zoo does not house large predators such as elephants, rhinos, tigers, or lions, giving it a more intimate character. It is a welcoming family destination in the heart of Eskişehir's vibrant public green space.
