Tarsus Animal Park, also known as Tarsus Nature Park, is a municipal zoo and nature attraction located near the Tarsus Dam in the Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. Spanning approximately 110 decares, the park is organized into four main animal groups: mammals, reptiles, poultry, and fish. Mammal residents include lions, tigers, bears, leopards, wolves, jackals, zebras, monkeys, baboons, and deer, while the reptile section features anacondas, crocodiles, turtles, and various snake species. An aviary houses peacocks, hawks, eagles, falcons, and many bird species, and an aquarium section displays dozens of fish varieties including piranhas. Originally established in 1999 in central Tarsus, the park relocated to its current spacious site in 2013 and has since become a major regional attraction, welcoming around 400,000 visitors annually.
