Het Ezelhuis is a specialist animal experience based in the Zeeland region of the Netherlands, offering guided walks and interactive workshops centred entirely on its resident donkeys. The facility provides two main experiences: a two-hour walking tour covering five kilometres through the scenic Zeeland polders, and a shorter Donkey Experience workshop of 60 to 75 minutes that includes grooming, petting, and refreshments in the gardens. Children aged eight and over are welcome on the walking tours, while the workshops are suitable for families with younger children and visitors of limited mobility. Het Ezelhuis emphasises walking alongside the donkeys rather than riding them, championing a ground-level connection with the animals that prioritises both visitor wellbeing and donkey welfare.
