Grădina Zoologică a Brăilei is a well-regarded zoological garden founded in 1983, located on the bypass road of Brăila in southeastern Romania and covering 4.6 hectares. The zoo houses 326 animal specimens across 49 species, including 32 mammal and 17 bird species. Notable residents include a performing brown bear named Stelica, a Siberian tiger named Alf, lions, an Alaskan wolf, reindeer, emus, African buffalo, yaks, mouflons, porcupines, Vietnamese pigs, coatis, and a variety of waterfowl and exotic birds. Educational panels throughout the park inform visitors about animal behavior, diet, and natural habitat, while three children's playgrounds and a horseback riding arena add recreational appeal.
