Oaklawn Farm Zoo is a family-owned zoological park set on 50 acres of scenic countryside in Aylesford, in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. Established in 1984, the zoo was long celebrated as Nova Scotia's largest private zoo and featured one of Eastern Canada's most impressive collections of big cats and primates, alongside a broad range of mammals, birds, and reptiles encompassing both exotic and native species as well as domestic breeds. Popular attractions included feeding times for the big cats and bears, an opportunity for visitors to interact with deer and goats, and on-site dining and gift shop facilities. The zoo's rural setting and diverse animal residents made it a beloved destination for families and wildlife enthusiasts across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
