Discovery Wildlife Park and Campground is a 90-acre wildlife sanctuary located in Innisfail, Alberta, approximately 15 minutes south of Red Deer, offering a unique combination of wildlife experiences and overnight stays. For over 30 years the park has provided permanent homes for orphaned and non-releasable animals, with over 38 species including lions, tigers, bears, wolves, jaguars, alligators, elk, deer, camels, and various primates housed across 29 enclosures. Daily animal presentations included with admission bring visitors up close to bears, tigers, lions, and wolves, while guests meeting the height requirement can book a special walk with resident timber wolves. As the only zoo in Alberta where visitors can camp among the animals, Discovery Wildlife Park offers a truly memorable and immersive nature experience.
