Elora Gorge Conservation Area is a stunning natural park in Wellington County, Ontario, where the Grand River carves through dramatic 22-metre limestone cliffs. Managed by the Grand River Conservation Authority and open seasonally from May through October, this popular destination offers a rich range of outdoor experiences including whitewater kayaking, canoeing, and tubing through the river rapids, as well as hiking trails with sweeping gorge views and fishing for brown trout. Located near the charming villages of Elora and Fergus, the conservation area also provides access to the 47-kilometre Elora Cataract Trailway and the historic West Montrose covered bridge downstream.
