Yukon Wildlife Preserve is a remarkable wildlife sanctuary located approximately 30 minutes from Whitehorse, Yukon, set across 350 scenic acres of natural boreal landscape. The preserve is home to 12 or more iconic Yukon species, including moose, caribou, bison, elk, lynx, foxes, mountain goats, Dall's sheep, and muskox, all viewable along a 5-kilometre walking loop or via guided bus tours departing daily. As an accredited member of Canadian Zoos and Aquariums, the preserve operates Canada's only dedicated wildlife rehabilitation centre, providing veterinary care for injured and orphaned native animals.
