Buenaventura Zoo is a wildlife rescue and conservation center located at El Chirú in the Coclé province of Panama, set within the grounds of the Buenaventura Golf and Beach Resort. The facility is home to approximately 300 animals across a wildlife area and a farm section, including collared peccaries, raccoons, monkeys, deer, iguanas, snakes, macaws, parrots, peacocks, and pheasants, many of which have been rescued or rehabilitated. Visitors can feed animals using food buckets, hand-feed turtles, and interact with free-roaming birds and wildlife. Open Wednesday through Monday, the zoo offers a family-friendly and educational wildlife experience on Panama's Pacific coast.
