Zoo Boise is a beloved urban zoo located within the lush Julia Davis Park in Boise, Idaho, spanning 17 acres and caring for over 300 animals from more than 100 species. The zoo offers a rich variety of wildlife encounters, including African wild dogs, baboons, Nile crocodiles, vervet monkeys, otters, hyenas, warthogs, nyala, and saddle-billed storks. A newly reimagined Small Animal Kingdom features the TLC Foundation Small Cat Hideaway with sand cats, a meerkat habitat, Aldabra tortoise habitats, spider monkeys, cotton-top tamarins, and an innovative overhead walkway for the tamarins to travel between indoor and outdoor spaces. With a mission to connect guests with animals and inspire community involvement in wildlife conservation, Zoo Boise provides an accessible, educational, and engaging experience for families and visitors throughout the year.
