Safari North Wildlife Park is a sprawling 43-acre family wildlife park located just outside of Brainerd, Minnesota, home to more than 150 species of animals from six continents. The park features an impressive roster of animals including black and grizzly bears, sloth bears, cheetahs, tigers, leopards, cougars, zebras, giraffes, kangaroos, lemurs, monkeys, alligators, and much more, making it one of the most diverse wildlife destinations in the Midwest. Visitors can hand-feed giraffes, ride camels, meet animals in the barnyard petting area, and take an exciting Expedition Safari train ride through the park's open African safari area. The Parakeet Encounter adds a colorful interactive bird experience, and the park's season typically runs from May through October.
