Cape Safari Park, also known as Lazy L Safari Park, is a walk-through zoological attraction located just north of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, offering hands-on wildlife experiences with over 50 species of exotic animals. Guests can encounter alligators, lemurs, camels, tortoises, parrots, zebras, and much more as they stroll through the park's grounds. The Parakeet Jungle Exhibit invites visitors to feed and interact with colorful birds, while the Lazy L Mining Company lets guests mine for gemstones, minerals, and fossils. A playground and picnic areas round out the family-friendly experience. The park is open daily in summer and on weekends in spring and fall, with group tours and private parties available by reservation.
