The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is Connecticut's premier aquarium, located at 10 North Water Street in the South Norwalk neighborhood of Norwalk, and the only aquarium in the country devoted to Long Island Sound, a nationally recognized Estuary of National Significance. Home to more than 6,800 animals, the aquarium features immersive exhibits showcasing sharks, stingrays, harbor seals, sea turtles, river otters, jellies, crabs, lobsters, Atlantic puffins, common murres, meerkats, and more.
