Keepers of the Wild Nature Park is an accredited nonprofit wildlife sanctuary situated on 175 acres of natural canyon landscape along historic Route 66 at Valentine in Mohave County, Arizona. Founded in 1995 by Jonathan Kraft, the sanctuary is home to more than 150 exotic and indigenous wild animals that have been rescued from neglect, abuse, or private ownership, including bears, tigers, lions, leopards, birds, primates, and reptiles. Visitors explore the breathtaking canyon setting Wednesday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. and can book guided Safari Tours led by expert guides for an immersive, up-close look at rescued big cats and other wildlife. The sanctuary is dedicated to providing high-quality lifelong care, habitat preservation education, and animal welfare advocacy. Open to the public and located near Kingman, it offers a meaningful and visually stunning wildlife experience in the heart of the Arizona high desert.
