Wildwood Nature Center is a five-acre natural oasis operated by the Park Ridge Park District in Park Ridge, Illinois, nestled among ponds, prairies, and woodland areas. The center features an animal room housing over 35 resident animals, including rabbits, turtles, snakes, prairie dogs, hamsters, birds, and fish, providing visitors with close-up encounters with a variety of native and non-native species. An interactive Nature Nook offers books, puzzles, and educational games for younger guests. Outdoors, visitors can explore walking trails, observe local wildlife, fish in the pond, and engage with the Wildwood Prairie habitat.
