Kira's World Exotics Mini Zoo is a charming private mini zoo located in Vega Baja on the north coast of Puerto Rico. Operating in partnership with the Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales (DRNA), the facility provides a safe sanctuary for imported exotic animals, keeping them well away from Puerto Rico's native wildlife. With approximately 100 animals in its care, the zoo is home to a delightful variety of species including lemurs, wallabies, an anteater, a bobcat, and a zebra. The facility also rescues sick or injured local animals, giving them the care they need to thrive. Guided tours are offered to educate visitors about wildlife conservation, the importance of not removing animals from the wild, and responsible animal care. Reservations are required, making each visit an intimate and personally curated experience for families and animal enthusiasts alike.
