Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium is a combined zoo and aquarium in Tacoma, Washington, and the only facility of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. Situated on 29 acres within Tacoma's scenic Point Defiance Park, the zoo is home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species, organized around a Pacific Rim ecosystem theme.
