Clyde Peeling's Reptiland is an AZA-accredited specialty zoo located in Allenwood, Union County, Pennsylvania, dedicated entirely to reptiles and amphibians and welcoming visitors since 1976. The modern, climate-controlled indoor facility houses more than 40 species in naturalistic recreated habitats, including the Reptiles and Amphibians Gallery, the Alligator Building — home to Rocky, Adrian, and the rare albino alligator Sirphis — and the Island Giants exhibit featuring Komodo dragons and massive Aldabra tortoises that have lived at the zoo since 1967. During warmer months, many species venture into outdoor habitats, while seasonal events such as animatronic dinosaur displays and budgerigar encounters add variety throughout the year. Live keeper-led educational shows at the Program Center make Reptiland a compelling and uniquely focused wildlife experience for all ages.
