Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory is a nonprofit public aquarium and marine research facility located on the Gulf Coast of Florida in Wakulla County. Open to visitors seven days a week, it is one of the most authentic marine education destinations in the region, combining live animal exhibits with active scientific research. Guests can observe a wide variety of Gulf marine specimens across tanks and exhibits, and participate in guided tours, summer camps, and educational outreach programs. A dedicated sea turtle program offers adoption opportunities, while a marine algae greenhouse and nature trail add further depth to the experience.
