Sawgrass Recreation Park, operating as Everglades Airboat Eco Adventures, is a wildlife sanctuary and airboat tour operator located just outside Fort Lauderdale near Weston, Florida. Guests board high-speed airboats for guided rides through the heart of the Everglades, encountering alligators, crocodiles, native birds, turtles, and snakes in their natural wetland habitat. The park offers standard 30-minute tours, private sunrise excursions, and exhilarating after-dark Gator Nights adventures. An on-site reptile exhibit and nature sanctuary allow visitors to get up close with resident animals, including the chance to hold baby alligators. Additional activities include gem mining, fishing, and tent camping. Supported by the Sawgrass Nature Foundation, the park provides educational commentary on Everglades ecology and environmental stewardship throughout every visit.
