Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, now operating as Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, is a marine wildlife facility established in 1970 at Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales mid-north coast. It is the only place in Australia where visitors can experience close encounters with bottlenose dolphins, endangered Australian sea lions, little blue penguins, freshwater turtles, and local reef fish all in one location. Daily marine carer talks, animal presentations, in-water dolphin and seal experiences, and land-based meet-and-greet encounters with penguins and sea lions offer a range of engaging activities for visitors of all ages. The sanctuary plays a vital conservation role, rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of sea turtles each year, participating in the Australasian Species Management Program, and successfully breeding more than 14 Australian sea lion pups. Under new family ownership since late 2023, the sanctuary continues to evolve as a holistic marine wildlife centre dedicated to animal welfare, education, and conservation.
