Acvariu Constanța

Acvariu Constanța is a historic public aquarium forming part of the Natural Sciences Museum Complex in Constanța, Romania, and was Romania's first public aquarium when it opened in 1958. Situated on the seafront in front of the iconic Constanța Casino, the aquarium features 50 tanks housing over 100 species of fish and marine life. The marine section showcases fish and invertebrates from the reef zones of the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and Western Pacific, including clownfish, surgeonfish, blue damselfish, and moray eels, while the freshwater section presents species from the Danube Delta and Romanian coastal waters, such as carp, perch, pike, and catfish. The aquarium forms part of a wider complex that also includes a dolphinarium — the only one in Romania — offering daily dolphin shows, making it a highlight of any visit to the Black Sea coast.
