Atlantic Sea-Park

Atlanterhavsparken, known in English as the Atlantic Sea-Park, is a celebrated aquarium located 3.6 kilometres from the centre of Ålesund on Norway's western coast. Recognised by Forbes Magazine as one of the world's ten best aquariums, the facility brings visitors face to face with the marine ecosystems of the North Atlantic through exhibits including the vast Atlantic Tank, Deep Fjords, and an Aquaculture Visitor Centre. Residents include seals, otters, penguins, and a huge variety of fish species. Visitors can watch divers hand-feed fish in the main tank and explore interactive displays that reveal the secrets of deep-sea life. The park holds Eco-lighthouse certification for its environmental commitment.
