Australian Reptile Park

The Australian Reptile Park is a wildlife sanctuary on the Pacific Highway in Somersby, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, open daily and widely regarded as one of Australia's premier reptile and wildlife attractions. The park houses one of the country's largest reptile collections, featuring nearly 50 species including snakes, Komodo dragons, turtles, tortoises, tuataras, American alligators, and crocodiles, as well as Australian mammals such as kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, wombats, Tasmanian devils, quokkas, and echidnas. Signature exhibits include the Lost World of Reptiles, Spider World, Frog Hollow, and the Weigel Venom Centre, where the park plays a vital role in collecting snake and spider venom for the production of antivenom, a lifesaving service it has provided since 1958. The park has won multiple national tourism awards and is celebrated for its hands-on educational experiences and conservation work.
