Blue Planet Aquarium

Blue Planet Aquarium is a major aquatic attraction located in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, close to Chester, featuring over 100 exhibits and thousands of animals from around the world. The highlight is a spectacular 71-metre underwater tunnel through a four-million-litre tropical ocean display — home to Europe's largest collection of sharks, including bull and nurse sharks, alongside rays, colourful reef fish, and countless other species. Additional exhibits showcase clownfish, seahorses, poison dart frogs, venomous reptiles, and a fascinating array of freshwater creatures. Daily talks and feeding shows are hosted in the Aquatheatre by expert marine biologists, and shark-dive experiences are available for swimmers of various ages and abilities.
