Breazeale Interpretive Center and Aquarium

The Breazeale Interpretive Center and Aquarium is a free educational facility nestled within the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, located at 10441 Bayview-Edison Road near Mount Vernon in Skagit County, Washington. The center captures the ecology of the Pacific Northwest coastal zone where the Salish Sea meets the Skagit Valley, featuring aquarium displays with sea stars, urchins, anemones, and other intertidal and estuarine marine life in a touch pool setting. Exhibits explore the vital ecological and economic roles of Padilla Bay's intertidal mudflats, while outdoor upland interpretive trails through surrounding forests and fields extend the visitor experience.
