Cheetah Outreach

Cheetah Outreach is a conservation education facility based in Cape Town, South Africa, dedicated to the protection of free-ranging Southern African cheetahs and other indigenous wildlife. The centre hosts eight ambassador species including cheetahs, caracals, servals, meerkats, bat-eared foxes, black-backed jackals, Anatolian shepherd dogs, and leopard tortoises, giving visitors the opportunity to observe and learn about each animal during guided encounters. Beyond tourism, Cheetah Outreach Trust works with farming communities to reduce human-wildlife conflict in areas where an estimated 500 cheetahs live on unprotected farmlands. The facility runs respected education programs for local schoolchildren and international visitors, making conservation both engaging and meaningful.
