Cox Science Center and Aquarium

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is a multifaceted science and nature attraction located in West Palm Beach, Florida, combining over 50 hands-on exhibits, a planetarium, a traveling exhibit hall, an observatory, and a quarter-mile outdoor science trail. At the heart of the facility is the 3,000-square-foot Aquariums of the Atlantic exhibit, which features multiple tanks housing native Florida species including queen angelfish, pink wrasse, sharks, seahorses, eels, stingrays, and invasive lionfish. The centerpiece Shipwreck Cove tank showcases sharks, spotted moray eels, lobsters, and barracudas, while additional tanks display alligators and turtles native to the Florida Everglades. Touch tanks allow visitors to interact with marine life firsthand.
