Deep Sea World is Scotland's national aquarium, dramatically situated beneath the iconic Forth Rail Bridge in North Queensferry, Inverkeithing, Fife. The centrepiece of the attraction is a breathtaking 4.5-million-litre Underwater Safari featuring the UK's longest underwater walkthrough tunnel, where visitors come face to face with one of Europe's largest collections of sand tiger sharks — some measuring up to three metres — as well as rays, wrasse, and shoals of fish. With over 40 displays spanning themed habitats including Amazon, Piranha, Lake Malawi, Krakatoa, and rocky shores, the aquarium also houses seals, seahorses, and amphibians. Families enjoy daily feeding sessions and keeper talks, and adventurous visitors can book diving experiences with the sharks. Just 15 minutes by train from Edinburgh, Deep Sea World is an unmissable aquatic adventure for all ages.
