Fenn Bell Inn

Fenn Bell Conservation Project is a wildlife rescue sanctuary and zoo located at the Fenn Bell Inn, St. Mary Hoo, near Rochester in Kent, holding Medway's first zoo licence. The project offers visitors the chance to see a wide variety of rescued animals including otters, meerkats, raccoons, lemurs, several monkey species, birds of paradise, and wild cats, with all animals having arrived through rescue or rehoming from other zoos. Zookeeper and animal encounter experiences are available, along with school group visits and seasonal events at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. The project is also developing a dedicated conservation area for breed-and-release programmes with species such as red squirrels, with education at the heart of its long-term mission.
