Five Sisters Zoo

Five Sisters Zoo is a family-owned wildlife attraction located in West Calder, West Lothian, Scotland, just 25 minutes west of Edinburgh. Home to over 160 different species from around the world, the zoo is notable as the only venue in Scotland to house cheetahs, and also shelters rescued brown bears. The spectacular indoor Lost Kingdom reptile house is a highlight for visitors, showcasing an array of exotic reptile species in an engaging setting. Throughout the year, Five Sisters Zoo offers a range of experiences including educational school visits and intimate animal encounters such as breakfast with the bears. On-site facilities include a restaurant, play park, and soft play area, making it an excellent all-weather family destination. Open year-round except at Christmas and on 1 January, the zoo combines a strong conservation and education ethos with an outstanding collection of international wildlife, providing a fantastic day out for visitors of all ages.
