Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters

Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters is an interactive marine facility located at 11710 Overseas Highway in Marathon, Florida, offering visitors a uniquely immersive experience among the diverse sea life of the Florida Keys. The facility features a 200,000-gallon coral reef tank teeming with sharks, moray eels, grouper, and other tropical fish, a mangrove-lined basin filled with tarpon, a tidal pool tank with queen conch and horseshoe crabs, and touch tanks housing stingrays, sea stars, and horseshoe crabs. Guests can snorkel in the coral reef aquarium or tropical fish lagoon, touch rays and tropical fish, and participate in guided experiences led by marine biologists. Additional residents include a pig-nosed turtle, juvenile alligators, Everglades fish species, and shorebirds.
