Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center

Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center is a 57-acre marine life nature center located at 890 NE Ocean Blvd on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida, situated between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean. The center is operated by the Florida Oceanographic Society and dedicated to inspiring environmental stewardship through education, research, and conservation. Highlights include a 750,000-gallon saltwater lagoon showcasing Florida gamefish and their natural habitats, touch pools for hands-on encounters with stingrays and local invertebrates, and a Sea Turtle Pavilion. Daily programs feature Stingray Feeding, Sea Turtle presentations, and Gamefish Lagoon Feeding, giving visitors an engaging and informative experience. The Ocean EcoCenter houses interactive exhibits and additional aquariums. A Sea Star Touch Tank Pavilion and Rays on the Reef Ray Pavilion round out the offerings.
