Fluviário de Constância

Fluviário de Constância is an environmental interpretation centre located in Constância, in the Torres Novas area of Portugal, situated at the confluence of the Zêzere and Tejo rivers. The facility houses an aquarium showcasing native fish species and the freshwater ecosystems of these two important Portuguese rivers. Guided visits include an immersive documentary film, an exploration of local river fauna, and a gold panning activity that recreates historical prospecting methods connected to the area's rich Roman heritage. Educational programmes are available year-round for schools, and public visits — limited to 18 participants — are offered on Sunday afternoons from May to September by reservation. Catering to visitors from children to seniors, the centre combines environmental education with cultural discovery in a scenic riverside setting.
