Garden Route Wolf Sanctuary is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary situated between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay in South Africa's scenic Garden Route, dedicated to the protection and conservation of wolves and canids for over 20 years. The sanctuary is home to timber wolves, black-backed jackals, African wild dogs, wolf dogs, huskies, and a variety of farmyard animals, all housed in spacious, naturalistic enclosures. Guided tours of 40 minutes or one hour take visitors through the wolf packs, allowing for close and personal encounters with these fascinating animals. A touch farm, children's playground, gift shop, and a small restaurant serving breakfasts and light meals make the sanctuary a well-rounded family destination, open seven days a week from 8am to 6pm with no advance booking required.
