Get to know Animals LTD

Get to Know Animals (GTKA) is a unique animal experience centre based in Epping, on the border of Greater London and Essex, housing over 300 animals across around 70 different species. All of the animals are rescued or rehomed ex-pets rather than wild-caught creatures, reflecting the centre's strong commitment to animal welfare. Visitors can explore enclosures at a relaxed pace and book interactive handling sessions to meet and handle a wide range of species including cute furries, reptiles, exotics, and mini beasts. GTKA also offers birthday parties, educational visits for schools, animal therapy sessions for care homes and hospitals, and a popular Junior Zookeeper For A Day programme. Open for walk-in visits on selected days, GTKA provides a welcoming and educational environment for animal lovers of all ages.
