Gorge Wildlife Park

Gorge Wildlife Park is a privately owned sanctuary nestled within 14 acres of shaded bushland at Cudlee Creek in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, established by the same family in 1965. The park boasts one of the largest privately owned collections of Australian animals, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, wombats, echidnas, Tasmanian devils, quokkas, dingoes, emus, cassowaries, and fairy penguins. Exotic animals such as American alligators, meerkats, otters, camels, and several species of monkeys add to the variety on offer. A free-range colony of rainbow lorikeets delights visitors, and a reptile house showcases snakes, lizards, and frogs. Daily koala encounters allow guests to hold or pat koalas, while animal presentations feature meerkats, lemurs, and tortoises. The park is a welcoming destination for families and wildlife lovers of all ages.
