Gorse Hill City Farm is a community charity farm situated on Anstey Lane in Leicester, established in 1985 by local residents on reclaimed allotment land. The farm is home to over 100 animals which visitors can meet and interact with, including opportunities for close encounters through animal holding sessions with smaller creatures. An outdoor play park, educational visits for school groups, birthday party packages, and membership and adoption schemes are all available. The Farmers Hut Cafe provides refreshments, and a gift shop completes the visit. Open daily, the farm operates as a registered charity supported by community donations and memberships.
