Hole 'N' The Rock

Hole 'N' The Rock is a uniquely entertaining roadside attraction located 12 miles south of Moab, Utah, on Highway 191, combining a historic carved-rock home, an exotic petting zoo, a museum, and a trading post all in one destination. The petting zoo is home to a delightful collection of animals including a two-humped Bactrian camel, a zebra, Vietnamese potbelly pigs, emus, pygmy goats, miniature horses and donkeys, wallabies, alpacas, peacocks, sheep, and a pair of albino raccoons. Centered around a remarkable 5,000-square-foot home excavated from a massive sandstone rock fin by Albert Christensen beginning in the 1940s, the attraction also features vintage desert memorabilia and a souvenir shop.
