Hopefield Animal Sanctuary

Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is a long-established rescue and rehabilitation facility located at Sawyer's Hall Farm in Brentwood, Essex, that has been caring for animals since 1983. Home to over 600 rescued residents across a wide variety of species — including alpacas, meerkats, pigs, cows, donkeys, and bulls — the sanctuary gives a safe haven to animals that have suffered abuse or neglect. Visitors are welcomed into this nurturing environment to meet the animals through ethical encounters such as pig belly tickling and cow cuddling, making it a warm and family-friendly destination.
