Jallo Zoo

Jallo Wildlife Park is a sprawling 461-acre public wildlife and forest park located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan, managed by the Punjab Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries Department. Established in 1978, the park is celebrated for its thriving pheasant breeding center, which produces nearly 3,000 pheasants annually — around 75 percent of Punjab's captive-bred pheasant population. Visitors can see a diverse range of animals including sambar and chital deer, bears, camels, lions, tigers, and an array of birds such as pheasants, eagles, and parrots. The park also features a butterfly house with over 50 species, a large lake for boating and fishing, a Forest Research Centre, wildlife breeding facilities, restaurants, a theme park, and a sports complex, making it a comprehensive family destination on the outskirts of Lahore.
